The Atlanta Electrical Contractors Association provides many benefits to it's members. Please take the time to look

Governmental Affairs - The Association represents the interests of its
members nationally, through its support of ECPAC (the Electrical Construction
Political Action Committee) and NECA’s Political Leadership Council, and locally, through its active involvement in legislative and regulatory
issues.
Industry Relations - The Association is an active participant on State Codes Advisory Committee,
Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors,
Project Safe Georgia, Metro
Atlanta Code Council, Greater Atlanta Electrical League, as well as being an active Chapter of the National
Electrical Contractors Association.
Information - The Association keeps its members informed about industry
events through monthly membership meetings, newsletters and regional and
national conventions. Members also receive a copy of NECA's National
Electrical Industry Standards, direct mailings, Electrical Contractor Magazine, and support of NECANet.
Labor Relations - The Association represents its members in contract
negotiations and administration with International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers (IBEW) Local 613 (Atlanta)
Marketing - The Association offers marketing support to its members by
providing marketing materials, sponsoring training programs, conducting
marketing studies, and promotion of the "NECA Connection" contractor referral
database.
Partnerships - The Association has striven since its inception to develop
partnerships to benefit its members and their customers. The
partnership between NECA and the IBEW has been delivering quality to its
customers for 100 years. The Association is also continuing to develop
partnerships with construction users, utilities and service providers.
Public Relations - The Association is an ardent promoter of the "Quality
Connection".
Safety - The Association provides information on changing OSHA
regulations and provides its members with a wealth of low and no-cost NECA
safety materials, publications and polices, such as safety programs and new hire
videos.
Insurance - Access to the Association's Workers Compensation Program, providing aggressive dividend returns.
Surplus Material Exchange - Locally & nationally.
Technical and Training Services - The Association supports apprentice,
journeyman, and technician training through representation on Joint Apprentice
and Training Committees with the IBEW. We also provide a variety of
management development and technical programs, most notably our Certified
Supervisors Program.
Trust Funds - The Association helps ensure Contractor contributions to
fringe benefit plans are used wisely and efficiently through representation on
local trust funds. The Association’s Executive Vice President also acts as the collection
trustee for the National Electrical Benefit Fund.
